This hike follows the dramatic cliffs of Maro-Cerro Gordo, with beautiful views along the way. The trail passes small secluded bays with crystal-clear water, and the varied vegetation adds to the scenery.
Some sections run close to the cliff edge, and there are a few places where a little scrambling is required. Shoes with good grip are definitely recommended.
