The MARIN (AKA GWYDIR FOREST) MTB trail

None of your well manicured, uplifted, Bike Park Tosh here! Just PROPER Old Skool Trails, that require a level of skill & stamina! Your reward,fast (fantastic) technical trails, spectacular views, FREE Parking. Take your 'A' Game with you. Summer vegetation is crowding some of the trails which desperately requires more riding on them, there are a couple of well sign posted biggish drop offs. There are also quite a few longish forest road pedals but the rewards are worth it. Llanwrst near by has cafes, camping (located outside the village) & a municipal swimming pool. This is above the usual assortment of pubs. There's no Trail Visitor Centre or Toilets, just a free carpark. The trail head is located just over the narrow bridge from the village straight over the small crossroad junction & up the hill on your left. Happy Trails!
There are also plenty of walking trails but I can't vouch for them.
