One of the most beautiful hikes in Mallorca, be sure to wear sturdy shoes!
The round trip to the old defensive tower, the Torre de Cala en Basset, is very beautiful, but in places it leads over hill and dale. This is the westernmost point of the island. In Sant Elm there are 2 parking spaces at the entrance to the town, one free and a large one that costs €5 per day. Nice restaurants invite you to take a break in Sant Elm.
Beautiful tour with fantastic views. 😍 Please note that although the hike is only 7.2 km long, it is quite challenging at times, there is loose ground and a lot of scree, even in steep passages, and suitable footwear and sure-footedness are absolutely necessary. Greetings Peter 😎
It's finally time again. Hiking in Mallorca. Landed at 8 a.m. and was on the road by 9 a.m. I was actually planning a different tour, but I had to adapt to the weather. It started to rain in the Serra de Tramuntana mountains. It was still beautiful in the south. So I headed to Sant Elm, with a view of the dragon island, Sa Dragonera. It was very stormy. Clearly visible by the wild water. It's a truly beautiful spot here. My heart is filled again here ❤️ It was just a short tour to start off in Mallorca, but it was still beautiful. The weather improved, and I decided to do a tour to one of the two table mountains right afterward. See next tour...
This tour begins in Sant Elm on the coastal path side on a very windy day with raging seas, facing the Dragonera, towards the Cala en Basset tower then its cove where we thought we would swim, then return via the forest. Nice walk
