Old Bridge of Tilt

Highlight • Bridge

The Old Bridge of Tilt is the name of the older part of the village rather than specifically the name of the bridge. This old bridge is very pretty though …

Trail Reviews

September 5, 2024, Glen Tilt Trail Loop ( Check In Car Park for Range times before starting )

If you do this trail you must check the Glen Tilt car park notice board before setting off. If the range is open for long range shooting you cant follow the upper path.

Beautiful walk mainly on well maintained paths and roads. The first half has a few hilly sections but nothing too strenuous if you are generally fairly fit. I would say its intermediate rather than expert. Views all the way are stunning.

A beautiful walk through autumnal forests and following the river and waterfalls of the Glen Tilt Circuit

August 19, 2024, Atholl Estates

On the last stretch to Blair Atholl in the Atholl Estates. The last Duke with his army (100 men) in Scotland at Blair Castle. Expensive campsite but you get the tour of the castle almost for free.
