This route was planned by komoot.
It's only about 300 hm, but down in the gorge there is no signal.
Here you will find one of the largest colonies of griffon vultures in Europe. During the breeding season you are only allowed to go a small part. At the moment, however, it is permitted to go all the way down into the gorge. You can "book" the permit online - we did this a month in advance - https://www.juntadeandalucia.es/medioambiente/cupos-ciudadano/public/login/inicio.jsf?faces-redirect=true The beginning is quite comfortable - the last km is quite steep and you go down "rock steps" to the stream bed. There should also be a cave here - which we unfortunately did not find. I did a bit of research - we apparently should have continued in the stream bed. But it was also so great, at times we had 12 of the vultures above us, some even saw them flying quite close. Very impressive. The path is also very beautiful and you always have great views of the gorge. So it's a highly recommended hike - but you should definitely wear good hiking boots and be fairly fit.
