Trail Reviews

Pedaleando el mundo
April 20, 2024, Valle de la Gloria (Angües- Sieso-Labata-Casbas-Junzano-Angües)

This is a very rolling route of moderate difficulty that allows us to visit several towns in the lower part of the Sierra de Guara and allows us to visit several hermitages in the area. We leave from Angües along a track in perfect condition that will be the usual tone of the route, although it is true that there is a small link between tracks in which there is a lot of vegetation due to the spring and the low number of cyclists that makes us be more careful. although at no time is it a loser since everything is perfectly signposted and marked with the direction to follow. After passing through the Hermitage of Bascués, we arrive at the town of Sieso de Huesca where we return back in the direction of the spectacular hermitage of San Miguel de Foces, a must-see on the tour. We continue along a track in perfect condition and thus arrive very close to the town of Ibieca where we can choose to detour there or pass by as we did. After traveling the somewhat steepest part of the route and always with the views on the Sierra de Guara, we began to close the loop and shortly after crossing the road and entering very close to the Formiga ravine to climb again in the direction of Labata where We arrived along a narrow path. After the town, we take about 100 meters of road and again we return to a track that takes us through the wildest area of the route passing Las Articas, and finally to Casbas where after crossing the town and heading towards Sarda we do another loop and we finally head by road to Junzano to face the final part of the route that will return us to Angües.
