Pentire Head is worth the hike! This circular tour is mainly along the Costal Path, past the cliffs and beaches and only a few roads. Start is the National Trust's Lead Mines car park (members park for free). Then it goes over The Rumps with great views over the coast and onto The Mouls. Here the paths are sometimes very steep, rocky, or close to the abyss. Therefore, the weather conditions should be observed urgently. We didn't hike all the way around either because of the strong wind. Then it goes via Pentire Point and Polzeath Beach. If you go a little off this tour, you will find cafés, restaurants that invite you to take a break and small shops around the beautiful beach. Then the tour leaves the coastal path, leads a short distance over a Holyday Park and then over fields. Then it goes past near the car park (short cut possible) and just before Lundy Bay back to the coast path. Here you have a wonderful view again.
