Jausiers

Highlight • Settlement

The last town before starting the climb to the Col de la Bonette. There are several places to fill. bottles of water and even food if needed. Also, it is a good stopover after climbing the Col de la Bonette.

Barcelonnette

Highlight • Settlement

Barcelonnette is the capital of the Ubaye valley. We breathe in its streets like a perfume of the south of France which is already announced. It is a very pleasant city.

The Col de la Bonette is one of the highest pass roads in the Provençal Alps, with the loop around the summit, "Cime de la Bonette", being the highest paved road in the Alps.
A big dream fulfilled✅😊...long climb with fantastic views and a spectacular finale🥰...every racing cyclist's heart jumps for joy and pride😊

Fantastically beautiful climb. At the end of May you go from spring in the valley to the end of winter at the top.
On the way beautiful views and also a whole lot of marmots.
Important: take something warm with you for the descent!
