Fascinating route of difficulty E which crosses an ancient mule track up to the Abbey of San Michele. Not recommended on rainy days and/or with very wet ground. The route does not present any particular difficulties, except for the high difference in altitude, so a minimum amount of athletic preparation is recommended.
The path is really nice but it needs that you are fit. We took more than expected to go up and even more than expected to go down. It was beautiful and worth it but whoever want to take this path needs to know it's not an easy one
This hike is a must to reach this magnificent place that can be seen from very far away.
Quite steep ascent, path visible but not well marked, possibility of refreshments both before the climb and in the upper car park and upon arrival. Path mainly covered by wood on the western side and a little less on the eastern side.
Nice ring ride of 9 km. about .... clean path suitable for everyone, it can also be done without a hat as it is almost completely in the shade.
