After a lovely evening in Rome with my friend Alessandra, here I am on the road to the Abbruzzi and a lovely hike to Duchess Lake. Gorgeous !

A tough path but one of rare beauty. First stretch immersed in a wood where sunlight struggles to penetrate. Taken in the technical and tough woods but maybe done with boots .... After the woods the landscape becomes lunar without trees but beautiful.
