‼️ Attention ‼️ The winegrower at the vineyard does not like it when hikers walk across his land. The only alternative is to continue on road 171 and via Moar towards Noafer to get to the Greifenstein castle ruins, also called Sauschloss.
For us "flatland hikers," this was a truly challenging tour, with steep slopes and climbs. It was generally great, with incredible views, and the Plattner Inn, 2 km from the end, gave us a boost with a fantastic view, delicious food, and a friendly atmosphere.
There are two restaurants along the way. There is a parking lot at the start. Steep descent requires surefootedness.
