This route was planned by komoot.
Be careful in April and May, the paths are not visible and very narrow under Artzamendi, it is dangerous and you will have to walk all the way or almost above rocky bars. The climbs are very steep at times. IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL. You must have an excellent level of piloting by place. Don't go there if you're not very into the mountains. The descents are too beautiful.... Brief - have an expert level - be careful when it rains it is dangerous under Artzamendi - have good thighs.
The original loop was in the opposite direction, and the difference in altitude was spread over the first 14 km...I therefore did this route in the other direction, passing through the Col des Veaux. Physical but almost all the elevation gain is concentrated over around 7 km, so. Do not do the Col des Veaux in the middle of summer, because of total exposure to the sun at the end of the climb...I had tested the climb via Napparuntz (at the Laxia stream), which arrives on the slopes of the Artzamendi, but I advise you against... (In the initial trace we go down via Napparuntz). Otherwise magnificent landscapes, physical trace despite its low mileage.
