Nice hike, to do a little later in the season. Today there were a lot of frozen places on the way, snow in places, and especially old avalanches which obstructed the way. I had to go over it, and put on the snowshoes on the last part before arriving at Ru d'enfer. And for the descent to make the loop quite dangerous because side in the shade, and therefore freezing on large parts. In the end, it was nice but quite complicated, the duration of the hike increased to 5 hours including break.
Walk carried out on October 31 but I think it is ideal for heatwave days...
Welcome to the Lys Valley. A beautiful 4-hour hike (counting a few breaks) or 2.5 hours of walking that will take you to a very large waterfall, in other words, the Gouffre d'Enfer on the promontory. Often used as a canyoning playground, the chasm is an impressive spot where you can cool off thanks to the very intense water flow. Then you continue your way by following the indications towards the Ru d'Enfer. A beautiful climb that will make you discover a superb place where you can take a snack break before starting the return descent. You will see many very pretty waterfalls to observe. Then in the shade, you continue your way to the starting point.
