Hard hike. Very good fitness required. Mostly accessible paths. Sure-footedness required. The starting point of the route is right next to a parking lot.

This route was planned by komoot.
Good route without any difficulty, only the fact that it starts immediately with a good slope. Perfect refuge for breakfast and lunch, very helpful staff
The arrival point is the same, except that my phone ran out of battery before arriving...so point B has to be recalculated at point A
Departure from Canza, the last hamlet of Formazza, taking the forest road that winds through an infinite row of larches, with a constant slope. Once you reach the mountain station of the Segesboden chairlift, the slopes become more difficult, up to the entrance to the Vannino valley, where the landscape becomes wide and sunny. In another hour you arrive at the Margaroli refuge, but before having lunch, you continue the climb to Lake Sruer at 2330 m, where the temperature changes drastically (you need to be equipped). We continue down towards Lake Vannino and finally have lunch. Margaroli is a real Alpine refuge, the managers are really good 👏🏻 https://youtube.com/shorts/ydZau0qlbGs?feature=shared
The Vannino area is truly a beautiful sight. Starting from Canza, you climb to the top station of the chairlift, where the slopes become more challenging for a kilometer. Then the valley opens up and you walk along the jeep-accessible road to Vannino, with its turquoise lake (a little shallow) and the beautiful Margaroli refuge, a crossroads for several trails. I also recommend climbing to Lake Sruer, with its distinctive color and consistently crisp temperature.
