Depart from Espédaillac for this accessible circuit, through the typical landscapes of the Gramat plateau. You begin on wide, pleasant trails, surrounded by low walls and dry grasslands. Along the way, several dolmens mark the route: first that of Peyrefit, then those of Lake Lapeyre and Coustalou.

You then pass through the village of Grèzes, known for its parish church of Saint-Jacques le Majeur and its painted decorations. At the exit, a short detour takes you to the Cazelle du Puy, a restored stone hut set back from the trail.

The circuit briefly returns to Espédaillac, without ending: a final loop takes you to the Mas d'Ourgnaguel, before returning along pretty rolling paths lined with dry stone. A simple, accessible outing, and ideal for exploring the Causse.

Peyrefit Dolmen

Highlight • Other

The Peyrefitte menhir, located on the Issendolus plateau, is a limestone block nearly two meters high, erected during the Neolithic period. Listed as a historic monument, it was probably part of a group of landmarks or ritual sites. Easily accessible, it is now located along the road, in a typical Quercy landscape.
