Little winter ❄️tour on Birgit's birthday... .. from St. Margarethenberg to the Pizalun high above the Rhine Valley with a great view of the Graubünden rule.. Dry at the beginning, increasing rain towards the end, but shortly afterwards we were in the thermal baths and sauna in Bad Ragaz... so the bad weather didn't matter at all...
Today again at the neighbors in the 🇨🇭 I started above Bad Ragaz in the small mountain village of St. Margarethenberg. Large parking lot free of charge First along the village street..soon it becomes a hiking trail that leads steeply through the forest..the last ascent to the summit leads over a ladder to the viewing platform and the summit cross..amazing view..back a bit along the same path..then continue to the Naturfreundehaus Jäggerli.. to the Fürggli.. the last 3km on asphalt unfortunately past the St.Margarethen chapel and soon you are back at the parking lot.. 😊👌
Running time: strict 2 hours 15 minutes 🤪 Strict, because we were out again without snowshoes and had to stomp a lot of snow 🤪😂. Now I'm a year older but I'm no wiser 🫣😅
start: St.Magrethenberg 🏘 in Heidiland 🅿️ (free) through the small mountain village 🏘 at the fork on the left past the houses and a great path begins (easy to walk on) a few remnants of snow have to be crossed (icy) soon at the signpost 🪧 on the left is a private punker, a few more meters, a steep but well-built metal staircase leads all the way up to the Pizalun viewing platform 🪜 "Pizalun" ⛰️ 360° panorama, with the signs you can also name the many mountains around. shortly back along the same path towards Fürggli, a comfortable hiking trail leads on the plateau on the little-used road past the "Buurabeizli" 🏠 (no stop for refreshments as Lana injured herself) past the chapel of St. Margrethenberg ⛪️ to the starting point.
What a wonderful afternoon stroll with almost the whole family 🥰. One of my boys went on strike 😁. A stop at the Buurabeizli is a must. They are soooo lovely there. And the delicious things they serve there. Really recommended.
On tour with mom (80 years old) We had such a lovely afternoon together. She is a really great woman with a lot of power in her butt🥰 I wonder where I got that from 😋
Somehow my recording is not correct but no matter. Just made a nice round with Pascale
