This route was planned by komoot.
Leaving the car in San Fedele I took the mule track to Pigra. Apart from the first 70m to rummage through the grass, the rest is an excellent alternative to the road. Take photos of the Croce di Colonno I went to Galbiga and then Crocione. On the way back I tried a new mule track to go down towards Ponna. Beautiful ride.
The day started off badly.. first the stifling heat, then the traffic on the ring road and finally the road to Val D'Intelvi blocked for some reason🤬. Ok it's 11 and I'm going home. Instead.. I find a free (and free!) parking lot and go up to Pigra with the cable car. I'll do the tour in reverse but given the time, cutting a bit of climbing isn't bad. From there on it was a succession of fantastic views. My minimum objective was the Venini refuge but, having reached it, I decided to try Mount Tremezzo which had eluded me on another occasion. And I did it! A good part in portage ok. But done! And from there what a view! For the return I took the road I should have taken initially, very paved but non-existent traffic, and still very fun. Even the descent from San Fedele to Argegno, if done on a weekday, is very enjoyable and with a pretty good view. Very satisfied.
