I forgot to start the App..there's a big section missing...very nice climb...very nice at the refuge..the descent was easier than I thought...a foot bath on the way back in the cool water of the torrent....

This hike starts from the La Fruitière car park on a path which climbs steadily through lush landscapes, flat-bottomed clearings, the stream and waterfalls. The second part climbs correctly but without any particular difficulties, following the Gave du Lutour. And we arrive at a grandiose landscape: Lake Estom. The way back is the same as the way out.

It's not a great sporting performance, but a hike in the Pyrenees should be shared. The landscapes, rivers and lakes are so magnificent!

Fantastically beautiful hike and not only the Lac d'Estom invites you to a picnic, but also many other places along the way. On hot days, the fresh water is a wonderful way to cool down. It's a very popular hike and you're rarely alone.
