We set off from Bad Zwischenahn, first on the Aueweg, a wonderful, finely graveled path that runs a short distance along the floodplain. The return journey was mostly along the narrow-gauge railway trail. It runs for about 12 kilometers between Edewechterdamm and Bad Zwischenahn. Paved and easy to ride, it's almost always a straight line, away from traffic 😉, a beautiful route with plenty of shade and nice rest stops. The old School-Patt is also worth mentioning; just before Edewechterdamm, it leads onto the railway line, a narrow, finely graveled path that's fun to walk on.
"If Petrus 😇 brings such good weather 🌤️, then it's worth a bike ride 🚴♂️". This time I cycled through the beautiful Ammerland again. A great stretch away from all traffic and noise. Half of the tour was on the car-free Kleinbahn hiking trail, which is a highlight of this tour. After a little snack at the Zwischenahner Meer 😋 we went back through the Aueniederung landscape park. Then you cycle past tree nurseries 🌲. I made a stop in the beer garden 🍻 at Ponyhof Neumann 🐎 in Dänikhorst. After a little refreshment we went back to the starting point, sometimes you cycle on dirt roads, but they are very easy to drive. A beautiful autumn tour through the Ammerland undertaken. The route took us through a beautiful landscape, past many thatched houses and tree nurseries. We went from Bad Zwischenahn back to the car via the small bike trail. The entire tour was very easy to drive!
That was a late, spontaneous and nice round. Accompanied by mothers. At 64, she doesn't let anything be taken away and my offer that she could wait in the café in Bad Zwischenahn and I'd drive around in the car to pick her up simply turned down. Mind you, they too, without an auxiliary motor, with pure muscle power. 👍
Last tour in Bad Zwischenahn😳 we continue to Rhauderfehn. The Kleinbahnweg from/to Bad Zwischenahn to Edewechterdamm is great to drive🚴🏼♂️ always straight on😆. On the way back past the Querensteder mill, for a coffee by the sea and then pack your suitcase 🧳.
