This route was planned by komoot.
The tour is extremely attractive because the views during the tour are fantastic. And there is a bit of scrambling involved too. You first head towards Puig Campana, and on the way down you go above the Coll del Pouet towards Font del Molí via Font de la Solsida. It is long and in the summer heat you definitely need to take enough to drink with you. The Font de Molí car park is relatively large; I parked in Finestret. From there, however, the road stretched all the way to the foot of the mountain... The circular hiking trail and the climb to the summit are very easy to follow with yellow and white markings, although you still have to look carefully. There are always paths in the rocky area that branch off and tempt you to go the wrong way. It wasn't a problem going up, but I went the wrong way twice going down. 😅😉. A really recommendable tour!
Magnificent views of and into the surrounding mountains and the varied coastline. Good hiking boots are important.
We parked at Font de Molí and walked the circular route counter clock wise. The area is of great environmental value and hikers are advised to take care and only walk on the paths. The track is well maintained and easy to follow. When coming to the Coll del Pouet, one can decide to continue the circular or to ascend to the Cim del Puig. Today we opted to just add some height meters by going partially up and turning around when we had 700m gain. The route is technically not difficult. It is a magnificent area to walk in with views of Benidorm, La Vila, and a few other impressive mountains like Cabal, Ponoig, Peñon Divino, Sanxet..
