We started at the top of the Feldberg Pass and then walked through the forest to Feldberg village. We climbed a bit up the lift slope and then turned right into the forest onto the rocky path, which offered us pleasant shade in the heat. We then descended to the Raimartihof farm. We then reached our final destination, Lake Feldsee. Then we continued up through the forest to our starting point.
The name of the tour says it all 🙃 Climb up to the Feldberger Hof, a short (not so nice) view of the ski slopes in summer and off we go into the Bannwald 🌲🌳🌿 From here it goes over hill and dale with beautiful views of the Feldsee. Mud-proof shoes 🥾 are recommended. A good and tasty snack at the Raimartihof and with a small detour to the Feldsee back to the Caritas House
Today my wife was allowed to choose where the hiking tour was going - it was the Feldsee! This time, however, not in the classic way from the parking lot directly to the lake, but on the Felsenweg further over the Emil-Thoma Weg down to the Raimartyhof, where we stopped off. I've wanted to run this loop above the Feldsee for a long time, today it was time. The path is nice to walk, currently still garnished with snow and today was somehow populated by hosts of mosquitoes. You can always see the Feldsee a little, but mostly only partially through the trees. There is no clear view from the path. After the stop, I did a lap around the lake where I had to persuade my wife as it got quite dark in the meantime. It didn't rain, we only felt a few small drops or saw waves crash on the lake. It had dumped elsewhere, we were lucky. At the end of the route, my back hurt from the child carrier and our older one needed some train help for the last 500 meters up to the parking lot. All in all, a successful day with the family in nature We'll be back!
Dream tour! What a forest! The tour leads through a so-called protected forest. This is the primeval forest of tomorrow. Everything is left to nature again. The result is species-rich, intact and moist forests. The start is at the hiking car park on the main road to Feldberg. After just a few meters you are in the Green Hell. Everything is moist, dripping, growing... A fantastic climate for deep relaxation! 😎 We were here during the week and always alone. You pass countless small streams, all of which plunge into the Feldsee below. The paths are stony, rooty and partly buried under the large amount of water (good shoes!). In winter the path is also impassable due to ice, as the sign says. Just before the Feldsee the Raimartihof offers a great hut to stop off at. We only knew that from Austria, wonderful! The highlight is the Feldsee, which looks magical right now in the colorful autumn. 🍂🌳🍁☀️ A 10-star tour. We are delighted! 🙂
Start was at the Feldberger Hof. Via the Felsenweg we went to the Raimartihof and after a stop with a snack break we continued around the Feldsee and via the Seesträssle back to the Caritashaus. I had done a similar tour at the beginning of summer. The abundance of flowers at that time was overwhelming. Now everything has dried up. The small waterfalls from back then are just rivulets. Nevertheless, the tour was nice, the forest makes you forget the heat, the temperatures in the forest are pleasant and sometimes the great views compensate for the lack of greenery.
great tour, one must have done. From Feldsee to the top of the Feldberg, some narrow trail sections with mainly stony gravel, root ground. 😅 PS: Forests: Pleasure inn great ambiance, very tasty food and the Black Forest You have to have eaten cherry cake....😃 If you then want to go shopping for small things from the Black Forest, is right there.
Start at the Haus der Natur. The hike to Feldbergsee first goes uphill a bit, partly over steps, and then across country over hill and dale, a great path, but you have to be careful where you step. Break at Raimartihof. We continue to Feldsee, the eye of the Black Forest. Beautifully located. The way back then goes again over hill and dale and always uphill for a long time. But the beautiful nature is reward enough for the effort.
