This tour takes you over the Furkel Pass around the 2,275 meter high Kronplatz - past lakes, rivers and small villages. Easy-to-ride asphalt roads, gravel and forest paths alternate.
You start in the tranquil Niederrasen and initially drive towards Rienz. In Niederolang the ascent begins along the winding Furkelstraße. Step by step you crank your way up to the highest point of the circuit before you speed down to Enneberg Pfarre.
Along the Gader you go through forests and over alpine meadows to Michelsburg near St. Martin. Your route takes you past the Brunnermoos biotope and then you drive back to the beautiful Rienz valley. Along the tracks of the Pustertalbahn you can enjoy wonderful views of the Dolomites before you arrive back in Niederrasen.

. Incredibly beautiful!!!!!! However, the first 5 kilometers of the descent are pretty tough, gravel and steep; good, serviced brakes and thick tires are essential in my opinion.
