Hiking
Around the Hintersee National Park Information Center (accessible restrooms available), you can explore the nature of the valley on flat, well-maintained gravel and asphalt paths leading into the valley to the suspension bridge. The path to the valley entrance is completely accessible. If you want to continue into the Klausbach Valley to one of the alpine pastures open in summer, you can also take the AlmErlebnisBus (low-floor bus). This also stops near the suspension bridge. Accessible bus stops are available at approximately 1.2-kilometer intervals.
Further information about the AlmErlebnisBus can be found here: https://www.almerlebnisbus.com/
Alternatively, you can also take the paved road at the beginning of the tour. If you choose this route, please turn left at the "Ragertalm" bus stop to return to the main trail. Otherwise, the tour is no longer accessible.
Please note: The final stretch to the suspension bridge has a gradient of 16 to 22 percent (recommendation: To overcome the gradient, you can use the AlmErlebnisBus from mid-May to mid-October). The suspension bridge itself has a gradient of 18 percent (sag) at the beginning and end.
Only recommended for wheelchair users with an additional electric motor.
The walking time is approximately 3 hours (depending on the number of people).
Further information on accessibility can be found at: https://www.reisen-fuer-alle.de/wanderweg_klausbachtal_barrierefreie_haengebruecke_am_schluchsteg_249.html?action=detail&item_id=2428
