Hiking

Today it goes up to the highest peak of the Sengsengebirge, the Hohe Nock. The starting point of the nearly twelve-kilometer-long and varied tour is in Rettenbach - amidst a picturesque mountain landscape. After such a start, the day can only be nice.

You cross the stream and are already on the climb, which leads you the first route through dense forest uphill. Soon the trees clear and give you first beautiful insights into the Budergraben free. At the end of the ditch, keep to the right and cross a wide boulder field.

Through Latschengassen you climb higher and higher, following the marking number 463. The last section leads past vertical crashes and offers great views.

Once at the top, a beautiful green plateau greets you at the highest peak of the Kalkalpen National Park. Make yourself comfortable in the meadow, enjoy the beautiful mountain panorama and let you taste your snack. It goes back the same way.

The narrow path leads you slowly uphill through the mountain landscape. Green meadows and barren rocks merge into one another and form a great picture in front of the mountain peaks in the distance.
