Today a super nice hike with our friends from Vorarlberg on the Golm 🥵🥵💪

Today, I went on a hike that was almost entirely downhill. I started at the Golmerbahn mountain station in Tschagguns Latschau. After heavy rain and thunderstorms from midday yesterday, the mountain peaks were still shrouded in clouds this morning, while the sun was already shining in the valley. The timing isn't right here, once again...

The hike to the Lindauer Hütte is obligatory on holiday. Unfortunately we couldn't get hold of any cheese from the Sporaalpe this year. Let's see how the other one tastes. We start at the valley station of the Golmerbahn and take the alpine coaster back to the valley "as a reward". That is fun

Today I went up with the Golmen Bahn and started a nice tour from there. There were great views of the Montafon, mountains and valleys. The direction was Lindauer Hütte, via Latschätzalpe and upper Spora Alpe where we paused. It was very hot, so we didn't feel like going uphill again. So it was just further downhill, that was not so nice, wide gravel paths. Still beautiful landscape. At the Gauertalhaus we took a coffee break, the recording got out of hand, looks like I was walking in a zigzag and circle, but enjoyed the coffee sitting down😂. Then it went further downhill, mainly gravel and tar road, in between for a while along the stream on a path with an alpine character. When we arrived at the Latschau Golmen valley station, we took the train up again and enjoyed the view over a cool Almdudler until it was time for the last descents.

Today a nice hike to the three towers, with delicious Kaiserschmarren in the Lindauer Hütte, thanks @Prisca for the great suggestions 👍

You can only give 5 stars for a hike. I would have given this tour 10 stars. Fantastically beautiful. Incredible panorama, alpine meadows, forests, etc. When you get to the point where the three towers appear, you'll be left speechless...

We actually wanted to spend the night at the Lindauer Hütte and do the Gauerhöhlenblick via ferrata, but there is still so much snow up there. On the Golm we decided without further ado that we would hike to the Lindauer Hütte, the rest is down to the valley with the slides. The weather was kind to us, despite the gathering dark clouds. The high valley below the Sulzfluh, the Drusenfluh and the Three Towers is fantastically beautiful! The lower part through the Gauertal stretches a bit. The walking time is wrong at the back and at the front, we were on the way for almost four hours in total.
