https://thueringer-urwaldpfade.de/routen/thueringer_urwaldpfade_-_hohe_schrecke_rabenswald-familienweg/ A path for the family, as I imagine it: Not too short, interesting relief, healthy forest, great stations... Simply recommended. And there are also stamp stations from touringen.de... This Saturday we were almost alone on the path...
... in the stamp booklet. I don't know why, but I can't find this Touringen tour in my stamp booklets - so the three stamps were given space next to the special stamps. 😅🙈 It's a shame that I didn't have much time, because the individual stations are not just inviting children to linger. On top of that, my cell phone battery was empty - so unfortunately there are no photos of the highlights. 🤷
After yesterday's chaotic bike ride, today was supposed to be a leisurely hike 🙂. Following numerous recommendations, we chose the Rabenswald forest near Wiehe, a good choice, as it turned out 😉. This trail is a beautiful hike for the whole family; not too long, not too difficult, with plenty of adventure stations 🙂. Especially recommended in warm, dry weather; today it was a bit slippery in places 😉. As a reward, we're off to Weimar for dinner at El Burrito❤️😌.
After the weather forecast for today had not promised such good weather, we only went on a short walk to be prepared when the sky opened its floodgates. It was only a few drops in the end, which we weren't angry about. The raven forest was planned again today, which I had to leave 13 days ago with an empty battery. The paths were partly still quite muddy from the rain of the last few days and you had to be careful, nature has increased extremely in the two weeks, I put it in relation to the one picture. The circular route was well attended, unfortunately there was no outside catering. Komoot has not uploaded some pictures again. Have a nice men's day and a good start to the weekend. 🖖🖖🖖
On the way to the old home again today 😊! Have made a stopover in Wiehe to look at the model railway world again after 10 years. We were there quite early, before opening time🥺! Oops 🙈 what to do, wait half an hour, or use the time wisely! We had already made provisions, downloaded a tour for eventualities! All right, Garnbach here we come! The place is all about chainsaw wood sculptures😊! Did the varied family tour through the Rabenwald! It is a varied and action-packed tour that can fascinate young and old! It was us👍! Above all, there was a suspension bridge again, but this time made of wood! By the way, the model railway exhibition was great, you can recommend it if you are nearby in Thuringia😊!
Start/finish: Garnbach hiking car park Route according to the route given. Initially we walked through the dreamy and very idyllic town of Garnbach before continuing along forest paths to the sculpture and family path in Rabenswald. Various adventure stations give young and old the chance to get closer to nature with all their senses. This hike was an exploration tour for the four of us alongside all the carvings we marveled at in the Rabenswald. We made a short detour to the Rabenswald castle ruins despite a rain shower. Despite the relatively short route, you should plan enough time for all the adventure stations on this tour. A very nice hike for the whole family. 🙋♀️🙋🏼♂️
A great circular route that appeals to both young and old. On a length of less than 7km there are always new things to discover all the time. So it doesn't get boring even for the little hikers. Finally, we treated ourselves to a delicious ice cream in the ice cream parlor in Wiehe. A perfect day 👩 👦🐕 even without sun 🌞
Today we set off from Garnbach to hike the Rabenswald family hiking trail in the Hohe Schrecke with three Touringen stamps. This is one of Thuringia's primeval forest trails. At around 6km long, the trail is relatively short, but it offers a lot: autumn leaves, mushrooms and numerous stations for young and old, as well as a castle ruin. Everything is in good condition, with no graffiti or damage 👍 We really liked it. Afterwards we went to Donndorf Monastery to get another stamp. Because the battery was almost empty, part 2 can only be found at Bücherfee with 👑 🤷♂️
