Volksberg jungle path ------------------------------ www.thueringer-urwaldpfade.de
**Christmas our way? Hiking, of course!** We discovered an exciting route in the Thuringian stamp booklet and set off for Leutenberg. A beautiful, natural primeval forest awaited us there, which provided the perfect backdrop for our hike. Our tour started at the train station and first took us to the Waldlebenshütte. There we collected our first stamp and enjoyed a short coffee break. Well fortified, we continued through the forest to the Gustav-Freytag-Höhe, where we found the second stamp. The last section took us to the Kaiser-Friedrich-Turm, where we collected the third and final stamp. The route offers a varied hike with a bit of elevation and numerous beautiful views. If you love the forest, this is the place for you. However, you should definitely wear good hiking boots, as the paths are slippery and challenging in places. A real nature experience that we recommend to everyone
Today we went on Touringen♟️Tour again 🚶♂️➡️🥾🚶🏼♀️➡️🥾🌤⛰️🌳🌲 Today we were aiming for the Leutenberg jungle path in the beautiful slate mountains 🚶♂️➡️🚶🏼♀️➡️🥾🥾♟️⛰️🌲🌳⛰️🌤 ➡️Starting point: Leutenberg train station ➡️On the way along the jungle path (signs in the pictures). ➡️ 1st destination was the Wandslebhütte Touringen♟️NR.356 ➡️2.The goal is the Gustav Error height⛰️🌳👁👁 Here we had good tea from the Baltic Sea to strengthen us (for Maik with a good shot of rum 👍🏻🤪) and chocolate leftovers from Christmas 🎄🤶. There was also ♟️NR here. 357 ➡️3. The destination was the Kaiser Friedrich "Tower" Here you have a cool view of the "old town", the Leutenberg town church and Friedensburg Castle. Touringen ♟️ NR.358 was also printed in the magazine 😆😃 ➡️ On the fire salamander path, which is also available around Leutenberg, we went through the small "old town" back to the train station. It should also be briefly mentioned that the Leutenberg start of the Schiefergebirgstrophy is... https://www.schiefergebirgstrophy.de/
today we walked one of the Thuringian jungle paths, more precisely the jungle path inleuteberg. The 8.7 km long circular trail requires a certain level of fitness with a climb of 370 m. However, you will be rewarded with great natural paths and wonderful views. The premium trail leads past two huts that invite you to take a break. at the first hut you have the choice to sit on the veranda or in the cozy hut. The second hut is more like a pavilion, but still very beautiful and with a view of a castle on a mountain opposite.... And now one more request, if you liked the video, then subscribe to us....it's free for you, but it helps us to continue to build the channel.... Best regards Simone and Werner on the way on one of the Thuringian jungle paths https://youtu.be/Qdja8S3jfkM
Very nice tour for experienced hikers, have left out the market.
Leutenberg train station - Unterhütte - Goldkuppe - Wandslebhütte - Cronebrunnen - Eichendorffplatz - Save Nature Group - Gustav Fehler Höhe - Kalkgrubental - Kaiser Friedrich Turm - Schleifberg - Haus Leutenberg nature park - Fire salamander nature trail - Ernst Pabst Hütte - Friedensburg
Small afternoon round on the Volksberg jungle path, a very nice and varied hike. From the "Kaiser Friedrich Turm" there was a small, steep detour to the Schleifberg to the Siebentälerblick to enjoy a great view. On the descent you come across the signposted jungle path again. The path leads out of the forest along the railway line to the NaturParkWelten and back through Leutenberg. Here the jungle path unfortunately loses its charm and can be shortened from the tracks.
The “Primeval Forest Adventure Trail” and “On the Trail of the Fire Salamander” are two small circuits that are very suitable for children due to their length and shortness, on which stamps can also be collected. Current stamp count: 295
