This tour was recommended by Allgäu Tourism today. It went around the Immenstädter Horn. The start and finish of the official tour were at the Grosser Alpsee, the gateway to the Nagelfluhkette Nature Park. The first stage leads relaxed towards Immenstadt, where we faced a very challenging climb from the Steigbachtal. A turnoff leads to the Kemptener Naturfreundehaus, the center of the tour. After that, we went partly on gravel and tarmac paths along some alpine pastures, until a beautiful trail in the forest led down into the valley and again gave us a clear view of the lake.
It's a steep climb, but anything is possible! A few natural trails here. The view of Alpsee is gigantic.
