You can't photograph everything, that's all I'm saying... A path where you first think, well. But if you then go differently than komoot suggests, then, wow... This one takes you along a variety of different paths and through meadows. Opposite the Casino pond, it goes to an old galena ore area, with a view over Kelmis. Then inconspicuously along paths, along a mining area. Between foliage and conifers, it later briefly goes through a place where you are directed across meadows. Shortly before the end, a beautiful path bids you farewell and leads you back to the starting point by the pond...
Departure and arrival at the large car park at the entrance to rue du Casino in front of Aldi. A superb walk in a wooded area, a must do with the family. Thanks to Monja Hamesch for finding us this dream ride 14 which lives up to its name. Difficulty: None
Today, with beautiful weather 😎 and lots of 🌞, I went on a lovely hike in Kelmis, East Belgium. The hike featured a few sights and was easy to walk. In midsummer, I recommend doing this hike in the morning, as there are no places to stop for refreshments. The scenery is truly stunning.
I really wanted to do this hike this morning before the rain started... and it was a good idea, even though I didn't find the daffodil meadows – I guess I was on the wrong route. I did see daffodils growing in abundance on a wooded slope at the beginning of the beautiful Hohnbach valley... lovely too! 😏💪🏻👍!
Here, somewhere along the way, the beautiful violets should bloom insanely in spring. You have to take a look. 😉
A hike around Kelmis Unfortunately, the calamine violets weren't blooming yet, but many other flowers were. The wide paths and meadows were okay, but I prefer hiking through the forest. There were a lot of people out and about today, which I didn't like so much. But the main thing was that Merle 🐕 had fun. I wish everyone a happy Easter 🐣
