This route was planned by komoot.
After a difficult week, I had to unwind for a bit today on the Kleine Kyll HeimatSpur mindfulness path. The path begins and ends at the “Heidsmühle” in Manderscheid. The absolute highlight is the Wolfsschlucht. You can also skip these and take a shortcut, but that would be a real shame. However, you can also extend the tour, e.g. B. to the Windsborn crater lake and the Mosenberg volcano experience. I didn't dare cross the stepping stones through the small Kyll (picture 65) today because they were completely flooded by the high water level and were very slippery. I'd rather be the other way around 🙈 You can discover more traces of home at @GesundLand Vulkaneifel
After a beautiful tour through the valley of the Little Kyll and through the wild Wolfsschlucht, we wanted to continue the path through a ford, but the water was too deep.
Today only a small but beautiful hike on the mindfulness tour of the Eifelklinik. In the process I got to know an effective anti-sniffing agent. Just reach into a stinging nettle and you won't feel the snail bite anymore😀😀🙈🙈 The tour has several stations with small boards for mindfulness exercises. The scenic highlight is the Wolfsschlucht and a crossing of the Kyll on stones.
I added this second tour to the Burgen Stieg trail. Personally, I didn't like this tour that much. The final loop past the Eifelklinik is completely unnecessary.
A beautiful, easy hike with nicely designed stations for mindfulness. We took the Wolfsschlucht. Super beautiful, but slightly alpine. But it's only 200 meters. At the end you have to pass the hospital. Awful. Before that you cross a stream. Definitely have a Kneipp bath here if you want. The Kneipp bath at the end is more of a joke and was only 20 cm full of water.
Despite the rain, we set off and were rewarded with a beautiful route and sunshine towards the end. 😍
On this short hike you can take the time to enjoy nature with all your senses
On what was probably the last warm late summer day for the time being, I was drawn to near Manderscheid - to the Kleine Kyll mindfulness path. It starts a few meters before the Heidsmühle, the path is not very long overall, but it is incredibly beautiful. If the route is too short for you, you can of course change the mindfulness path into a longer route and, for example, start in Manderscheid or go on a loop to the Windsborn Crater or the Meerfelder Maar. I really enjoyed the almost 7 km today. The warm wind in the predominantly shady valley of the Kleine Kyll was very good. You walk almost exclusively on beautiful forest paths and cross the small Kyll over a wooden bridge. Hello everyone,
please remove the note about the closure. It's almost 2 years old now. I passed by today and everything is easily passable 😉
