Tour de Matasch and sliding trails. :) At the beginning it was still drizzling. But the weather got better and better towards the end of the tour. Why on the trails sections of over 15% incline in the terrain! are not yet revealed to me. I don't even drive that blocked when it's dry. 😅 The short section of bog was cool. Unfortunately I forgot my rubber boots. 😂 There were also stairs to practice driving. Unfortunately something look steep. As always, the trails themselves were a pleasure, albeit a bit tricky. I knew I forgot something at home again. The protectors. 😫 That would have made the head a little more relaxed. All in all, once again a very nice tour in the Black Forest MTB enclave Baiersbronn. 👍🏻
Wonderful trails and top conditions. Be careful on the first climb. There are some very steep sections on rocky ground.
After yesterday's tour through the rain and the rooty sections, I lost Karlsson for the next one. So I set off on my own and chose a tour up mountains I hadn't ridden before. The first 50% of the tour was quite easy, with only uphill sections on forest roads. So I enjoyed the peace and quiet and tried to use as little electricity as possible and more leg power. However, due to the climbs, this wasn't always possible. My first stop was at a mountain lake overgrown with duckweed. A hiker told me about numerous frogs spawning there. I saw at least one. An XC bike would have been better for the first 50%. It was a beautiful spectacle to cycle through the clouds that piled up in front of you like fog. The second half of the tour offered me some exciting descents. As I learned, there are levels from S0 to S5. S0 and S1 are flowy, from S2 onwards there are roots, S3 are rocky patches, and S4 and S5 are more for Paul and his friends :p It was great fun riding these natural trails, not knowing what was coming next and grinding through the rocky patches. I even rode a trail that wasn't yet saved on Komoot. Every now and then I had to push my bike because it became too challenging. I even grabbed it once, but nothing happened. After about 85% of the tour, however, I lost my rear tire, which was losing air. So I headed towards the starting point as quickly as possible to avoid having to push the bike. Unfortunately, I lost one or two trails in the final meters, but I actually arrived at the bike shop with 20% air remaining, and they put on a new tire for me. It was a wonderful day on vacation. Physically very demanding (my knees feel like jelly) and challenging trails that provide an adrenaline rush (screams of joy at the end of the trails). I should actually take more time to pack up my bikes and do tours like this in the Ore Mountains, the Harz Mountains, or the Czech Republic.
Today more panorama than trail. Nevertheless, I got on the Hirschlach Trail (S2), didn't ride everything, and got out again on the first cross-way. The landscape is fantastic again in the weather ☀.
The encounter with the grouse really scared me, it wasn't funny
Great tour 😊👍 today in my favorite 🌄 region of Baiersbronn in the Black Forest. I was accompanied today by @Uwe . We've wanted to go on a tour together for a long time, which finally worked out. It was cool 👍 I've had the T7 on my to-do list for a long time. But since it has a little too little HM for me, I have expanded it a little and modified it finely. The great difficult descent to Obertal down from the T8 is still very good but different in my opinion. It's just unusual when you know it differently. Many stone slabs have been integrated, which were probably placed with painstaking work by the trail maintainers. A special thank you goes out here 👏. Another conclusion: Baiersbronn is always worth a trip and it's always a lot of fun there. The trails are just MEGA
