Great trails and a somewhat adventurous path at the end
Inspired by@Martin we set off towards Baiersbronn very early today. It was worth it, I think the pictures speak for themselves. Very pleasant temperatures, hardly any hikers and a dream tour. The abundance of water was of course the highlight for Fee. And on the adventure trail she was always way ahead of us and had a lot of fun. After we were ignored by the waiter for 15 minutes at the starting point on the outside terrace of the Lamm restaurant, we moved our final stop to the Schliffkopf. At 23 degrees and a light breeze it was perfect...
Luckily the weather stabilized after a while and it stayed dry.
Hello everyone, After Mandy decided yesterday to go shopping with her daughter in what was expected to be rainy weather, I decided to go hiking today. The right tour was quickly found 🌳 🌲. I dropped Mandy off in Freudenstadt and quickly headed off to Mitteltal 🤭. The "Forces of Nature Tour" promised everything its name said. The trail promised everything I had hoped for. First, we walked along the Ellbach stream to the Ellbachkopf game reserve, then continued to the 270-year-old Ellbach fir tree and the adventure trail, which was truly adventurous 🤭 🤪. Afterwards, we continued along and around Lake Ellbach. I climbed higher and higher until I reached the Rosshimmel waterfall. From there, the weather became increasingly eerie. The fog grew thicker, the wind, the wind, the heavenly child, grew stronger, and the snow grew higher 🫣. After heading downhill again, the weather became more pleasant. I never died of thirst along the entire trail, as there were plenty of fountains ⛲️. Now, a coffee or two and a rest. Tomorrow we'll continue. See you 👋
Today we went to the northern Black Forest. Nice tour, but unfortunately a lot on wide forest roads.
Today we went to the Black Forest, near Baiersbronn to inspect the heavenly paths - forces of nature. We were surprised that a lot of water still ran, although the drought is so severe this year. The largest part of the tour runs on forest highways, with a few very nice hiking trails in between. However, the paths are a bit more challenging and not necessarily suitable for everyone. But I can recommend a trip there!
The Forces of Nature Tour is one of the nine heavenly trails of the Baiersbronn hiking heaven. Since there is a family celebration in the area tomorrow Sunday, the trip fell on today Saturday with the plan for this tour. Great weather, great area in the Black Forest Nature Park and hardly any people around. Highly recommended 😉👍
