This weekend I went to Baiersbronn to explore the trails there. At least one area that offers official MTB trails 🥳🥳🥳 There was a small but fine round to call in today. The official description: A well-suited after-work tour for technically and physically fit bikers with longer climbs, challenging trails, panorama and nature enjoyment. At the Stöckerkopf it goes over the cross-country route of the Baiersbronn bikers and then past the Sankenbachsee to the heights. A few trails lead down into the Ellbachtal and back to Baiersbronn.
This is a completely different level of riding here, wet roots and stones make the red and black trails even more challenging.
A bit of everything - trails, views, enjoying nature Black Forest: Popular mountain bike tour A well-suited after-work tour for technically and physically fit bikers with longer climbs, tough trails, panoramas and enjoying nature. At Stöckerkopf, the route goes over the cross-country route of the Baiersbronn bikers and then past the Sankenbachsee to the heights. A few trails lead downhill into the Ellbachtal and back to Baiersbronn Trail share only 10%, but they were tough. S0 - S2
Today was supposed to be a bit shorter, as we planned to indulge in the cappuccino culture extensively this afternoon. So we decided on the T1 in the abbreviated form. Of course, there are no enduro fireworks like the T6, but epic landscape, a visit to the idyllic Sankenbachsee (where you can also swim) and the picturesque, albeit with the current drought quite low-water Sankenbach waterfall. In addition, some really extremely pretty and entertaining trails that gave us a lot of fun! A classic "touring biker tour" seasoned with a few wonderful, small trail delicacies (largely S1, places S2) and all in the most beautiful nature. With approx. 600 meters of altitude difference and around 20km just right to enjoy the first cappuccino (Madame) or Pinot Noir (Meinereiner) in the early afternoon, showered and fresh under the vines in the "Café am Eck" :-) Cheers!
Following the T1 tour for a bit, we should go up again in the afternoon after the morning tour to the Tonbachtal. Through Baiersbronn, then always uphill following Sankenbachstrasse to your destination: the Sankenbachsee. There wasn't enough time to climb up to the waterfall; it was already getting dark. But there were a few minutes left for a circumnavigation of the lake with a short rest. Enough break to make the following climb to Kienberg. The panoramic view of the national park and the peace and quiet up here were the reward. Then we went partly on trails down into the valley, on the northern slope of the Kienberg to Bergergrund and then to Baiersbronn and back to the Tonbachtal.
