Hiking
Climbing, playing, having fun - the Burmi-Weg on the Breitach is so much more than the classic hiking adventure. The kids can let off steam here at various play and activity stations and face different movement and coordination challenges. Meanwhile, adult hikers enjoy the quiet and beautifully situated path along the Breitach.
It starts in Hirschegg shortly after the Leidtobel Bridge. You can reach the starting point by driving either by car or the Walserbus line 1 to Hirschegg and then hiking via the Mühleweg and the Leidtobelweg or via the Dürenbodenstraße and the Leidtdobelweg to the bridge. You can also make a detour to the Hirschegg children's playground (above the elementary school).
Right at the start, Burmi welcomes you with a large sign. The first play station is just a few meters away. From now on you can always walk along the Breitach from one game spectacle to the next. You can expect colorful climbing stations, playgrounds and soon a barbecue area where you can take a relaxing break.
Shortly before the finish in Riezlern, the route goes steeply uphill. If you want to avoid this, you can simply walk the path in the opposite direction. Depending on where you end the tour, the Walserbus will take you back to your starting point.
