Very nice, not too long tour. However, there is a very steep climb in the middle, for which you should be in good physical condition. The other three quarters of the tour are very easy to do.
After a relaxing drive from Kassel, we arrived in Galtür this afternoon around 3:30 p.m. Our group of 13 hiking friends met at the hotel and will now spend a whole week exploring the magnificent mountain world around Galtür. To kick things off, we set off at 4:15 p.m. for a short exploration. This leisurely hike took us up to the Sonnenkogel – just the right place to arrive in peace, stretch our legs, and enjoy the fresh mountain air. We returned to the hotel around 6:00 p.m., where we ended the evening in convivial company. In the next few days, a variety of hikes through the beautiful landscape of the Paznaun Valley await us – from leisurely panoramic hikes to more challenging tours. So, it remains exciting, and we are already looking forward to many shared experiences in the mountains.
