Unfortunately, navigation only takes you through the national park if you enter “Harsberg hiking car park”. That's why it's better to drive to Harsberg first and from there follow the signs to "Harsberg parking lot". The parking lot is at the information center and the Hainich National Park exhibition. From kilometer 4.5 onwards you can choose between the "long loop" (2.6 km left) or the "short loop" (1.2 km left).
