With the Tennengebirge and the Gosaukamm in the immediate vicinity, there is certainly no lack of wonderful panoramas in the Lammertal. You can convince yourself of this fact in a sporty way on the 24-kilometer panorama tour. Sporty because there are also around 800 meters in altitude to overcome. The starting point of the tour is in Lungötz, a small community in the middle of the Lammertal, which is the perfect starting point for many beautiful bike tours.
At the beginning you follow the Lammer, which has its source very close by and is still a small brook here under the steep southern slope of the Tennengebirge. The Lammertal primeval forest offers you a special nature experience here. After a short stretch along the Schöberlbach, you begin the climb up to the Karalm, which you reach after a short detour. Here you can let your gaze wander to the imposing peaks of the Tennengebirge, in the direction of Gosaukamm and on to the Dachstein massif. At the end of the climb you will reach the Schöberlalm. With a detour to the Buttermilchalm and further via St. Martin, you can then return to Lungötz without much effort.
On this tour you will pass three managed alpine huts: Karalm, Schöberlalm and Buttermilchalm invite you to take a break and spoil you with home-made products. The connection to Lungötz is also given by public transport. From Golling-Abtenau train station you can reach the town quickly and easily by bus. You can easily find the best connection with the route planner of the Salzburg public transport company: https://fahrplan.salzburg-verkehr.at/.
