In fantastic weather, we answered the call of the hiker and his wife and set off for the northern Black Forest to participate in their community hike. The trail was varied and idyllic, with pleasant company and pleasant conversations, the time flew by. It was wonderful, dear hiker! We'd love to come back in 2026 😊! Following the hike is definitely recommended! P.S.: At kilometer 5, Komoot temporarily disappeared again. Of course, we're following the single trail here...
The historical themed hike leads to the most scenic places in Enzklösterle. The circular route begins in the spa gardens of Enzklösterle at the display board of the raftsman's path at the show castle near the spa park lake. The tour is 23km, my battery didn't last until the end, a very nice tour with many highlights😍the jungle path was soooo beautiful
Great hike that was really fun. Will definitely do it again in the spring. We took a bit of a shortcut because it was dark. 🤩
This tour includes a few beautiful stretches of path with wonderful, primeval forest-like paths over hill and dale, along wild babbling brooks through partially unmapped terrain (see signpost photo). My absolute highlight was the path to the Poppelsee, which ends at a long tunnel through which the Poppelsee flows over a small waterfall. Songs enclose these dreamy paths a lot of wide forest paths. After the Poppelsee, you cross a summer toboggan run that has been used extensively and finally end up at the foot of the drag lift that pulls tobogganers up the mountain. There is a fair feeling here. Food stalls, play booths, a beer tent blend, playground and lots of families who spend a happy day here. At approx. Km 18, another path that has not been mapped leads directly along the stream. Unfortunately this is closed because of "grazing". This adds another kilometer wide forest path, in this case gravel. So if you want to empathize with the dream, you can concentrate on the sections between km 3.9 and km 12 without missing a lot. So in the end my reward was the playing cat, with whom I couldn't do without more photos. Please forgive.
A hike on Rose Monday, and preferably without revelers 🤭...that was the plan😆 The tour suggestion from @Angelika & Guido came in very handy, as Gompelscheuer isn't exactly known as a carnival hotspot😉 After an icy start🥶, we headed to Gompelscheuer along a narrow path that was once used as an irrigation canal. Already on the first climb, along partly rudimentary but well-marked trails, we realized that winter isn't over here yet❄️❄️❄️ A longer, rustic path that winds through the forest on soft ground takes us to the Poppeltal Valley. It's nice to spend some time at the lake of the same name, a former floodplain. Idyllically situated, still covered in a thin layer of ice, it offers plenty of photo opportunities. 😊 A longer climb follows, along a thickly snow-covered forest road, before a gentle path takes us down into the Kaltenbach Valley. One of my favorite rest stops awaits us here😊 The sun is warming us, and with a view over Kaltenbachsee, our break is a little longer today🥨🥪🍩☕️😆 The narrow path that follows along the Kaltenbach stream is a real highlight😍 Beyond Gompelscheuer, the trails covered in thick moss continue to and through the Bärlochkar cirque🌲🐾 For most of the route, we followed the hiking signs of the newly created "Enzquellenpfad," which connects the headwaters of the Große Enz river in an exemplary manner on a mostly narrow trail🤗 a real recommendation👌 It was another textbook hiking day🤩 and we didn't meet any revelers🥳 ...and without the GPS dropout, it would have been about 19 km with 550 meters of elevation gain
A beautiful tour with really nice paths and lots of water. Ideal especially in summer.
