With 550 meters of elevation, this tour is comparable to the mountain bike tour #2 "Bike and Hike" to Lösershag, but the climb here is spread over around 45 kilometers - three times the distance. The tour is ideal as a relaxed day tour that combines natural paths, gravel passages and occasional single trails. There are no technically demanding sections, but instead the route impresses with numerous scenic and cultural highlights. The route leads through the idyllic valley of the Thulba, past mountain meadows on the southern slope of the Black Mountains and along ancient copper beeches on a historic drift. One of the special viewpoints is the Hermannsruhe, which offers a wide view over the Black Mountains - an area that also includes mountain bike routes 1, 2 and 3. Other sights along the route are the small chapel above Stralsbach, which is ideal for a snack break, and the monastery church of Frauenroth, whose history dates back to the 13th century. A special tip for hot summer days is the natural bathing area in front of Hassenbach, which offers a refreshing way to cool off. This tour combines scenic beauty, cultural highlights and a relaxed route to create a varied day experience.
