Nice round for a short trip. It has everything: Bergisch waffles in the Rusticus, amazing views of the Rhine Valley and Cologne Cathedral and steep Wupper slopes through natural forests
Parked parking lot Restaurant Rusticus Krähwinkel 4 Leichlingen A culinary hiking tour from Das Bergisches The path leads along long stretches of the Leichlingen fruit path. A stop at the Rusicus restaurant with its beautiful beer garden is recommended, as is shopping at the SchmidtHaus fruit shop and/or in the neighboring farm shop
The panoramic view, about 1 km away, stretches from Cologne Cathedral to the Rhine Tower in Düsseldorf. Fascinating. Unfortunately, it was quite hazy, so there's only one photo taken at a high smartphone zoom level towards the cathedral.
