We took advantage of the beautiful weather this week and did a lap at the Derdinger Horn. Started at the Derdinger Horn vantage point above Oberderdingen. Then downhill along below the vineyards. With a great view of the surrounding countryside and the vineyards. Then past the Bernhardsweiher. A habitat for many species of animals and plants and very idyllic. A little further and around the curve to the staircase with 82 steps. It then leads to the panoramic path above the vineyards. Up here you meet a few more people, but during the week it's still limited. Several seating areas and a semi-circular lookout point. And I saw lizards, one even had two tails. The winding panoramic trail with great views then leads to the end of a barbecue area and a playground and a paragliding jump-off point. You come out again at the starting point, from which you have a great view in the other direction, i.e. towards Oberderdingen and you can even see Ravensburg. There is also a small, semi-circular corridor with different grape varieties and explanatory signs. Accessible at any time of the year and beautiful here.
We took advantage of the beautiful autumn day 🌰🥮🍂🍁 to take a walk to rejuvenate the senses. What a balm for the soul and mind 🤗. The Derdinger Horn is worth a visit at any time of year. 😄 Even though the pictures of the vineyard are similar, it was a pure delight to admire the splendor of the colors 🍁
The ascent to the Panoramaweg is well developed and safe to walk on.
OD3 was selected as the second small hike. A promising tour over the Derdinger Horn through the typical Kraichgau landscape with vineyards, meadow orchards, forest and fields. The circular route begins directly on the wine plateau on the "Derdinger Horn", with a wonderful view over the Kraichgau to the Odenwald.
