Today I waited for the promised sun, but it didn't show up. I set off in the afternoon anyway and that was a good thing. Almost at the end of the tour, the long-awaited sun appeared and conjured up a wonderful evening sky. Couldn't get enough of it. When I got back to the car it was extremely dark. As is often the case lately, the photos are pretty mixed up, but of course the ones from the Astronomy Park come last. I parked at Pfannwaldsee. From here on a beautiful path along the small Kraichbach through the forest to the beautifully landscaped Pfannwald barbecue area and further through a wild ravine to the road and on the other side through the great gallows cave up to the open field. How beautiful, the sun was peeking through the clouds here and there. A little more through the forest and I came to the astronomy park, which R.Zimmermann had created on his own, beautifully located private grounds. What has been created here is truly admirable. The day ended wonderfully - everything was done right.😊 .
A WONDERFUL HIKE, LOTS OF GREAT IMPRESSIONS - BUT ALSO STRENUOUS BECAUSE IT GOES UP AND DOWN IN THIS HILLY LANDSCAPE. THE GREEN TREE - A RESTAURANT IS ON THE WAY, WE DRANK COFFEE THERE.
Great, varied short hike. Great views
A night hike with a special flair. Set off at 10:25 as dusk began to fall and arrived back at the parking lot shortly before 12:00. Due to a moment of inattention, I missed a turn (it was pitch black) and ended up walking in a figure-eight pattern. The highlight of the observatory, large meadow, and spooky gallows hole was therefore only at the end. It's just wilder at night... Lots of rustling, but still nothing to see... Not without a headlamp 😄

Today's hike took us to Kraichstal between Zeutern, Oberöwisheim, Neuenburg and Odenheim. Today's hike is very remote, which is reflected in the access roads, which probably date back to the 70s, but still serve their purpose. The parking lot at Pfannwaldsee with its approx. 30 parking spaces was quickly found and only occupied by 2 other vehicles. We set off straight away to the nearby Pfannwaldsee, which was agitated after the night's rain. With its dam, it was half artificial, but still natural with its trees that had fallen into the lake and were covered in moss. The morning sun, which shone through the treetops onto the lake, gave it a certain wow effect that is difficult to describe and must be experienced. In the middle of it, a water turtle was sunning itself, which was probably released here by an overwhelmed contemporary. It has a paradise here that it cannot share with any of its own kind...
I've already been to this area in July, only then by bike 🚲 and since I've wanted to explore the area on foot for a long time, no sooner said than done. All alone I walked one or the other cave on relatively easy to walk paths. It was really nice and it will definitely not be the last time that I have hiked there.

As a hiking guide who planned and led almost exactly this hike last year, I can only advise extreme caution, especially in the context of a family hike. The road between the sunken lanes is dangerous. There is no pedestrian path. It's also difficult to see around the bends. People drive very fast. It
