The Lampertstein offers one of the most beautiful views in Saxon Switzerland. From the Königstein, via Lilienstein, Pfaffenstein, Gorisch, and Papststein to the Schrammsteine. At first, the trail is surprisingly largely paved forest paths. The magnificent panoramic trail at the foot of the Lampertstein is all the more beautiful.
Away from the tourist routes you can really enjoy the peace and quiet. I only met 10 people on the whole tour. There is a parking lot around where the tour meets.
There's a small, free parking lot at the edge of the forest at the start of the tour. The trail is initially wide and paved, with no significant climbs. The climb to Kohlberg is easy. There are two viewpoints, one of which can be reached via a ladder that's not so easy to climb. The promenade at Lampertstein is very scenic. The climb up to Lampertstein is via steps. The view is worth it. On the way back, you can take a small detour to the viewpoint of Schneekoppe, and then it's a leisurely descent back to the parking lot. The time recorded by Komoot is absolutely inaccurate. We walked for about three hours at a leisurely pace.
Beautiful, secluded route from Bielatal via Kohlberg and Lampertsstein.
A hike like a good movie. We start with the Kohlberg into the possibilities of the subject that is coming our way, slowly walking along the dramaturgy until the dramatic climax is reached on and around the Lampertstein: A really beautiful all-round view of Saxon Switzerland. It's worth it. Especially on a spring day.
Away from the crowds of tourists, relaxed through the countryside. 🤩
