Auf den Spuren der Offenburger Bike-Challenge – Mountainbiken im Schwarzwald

The Offenburg Worldclass MTB Challenge was an institution in the marathon scene for seven years in a row. Launched by former bike professional Jörg Scheiderbauer, the race attracted around 2,000 starters to the Black Forest every year and was even part of the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup. A real knighthood for this region and impressive proof that you can really bike here.

On this tour you will follow the trail of the bike challenge. However, without any stress, but with a lot of enjoyment: The drive through the foothills of the Black Forest and through the vineyards of the Ortenaukreis is just fantastic. Thanks to the varied ups and downs, you collect a lot of vertical meters on the way. 1,280 meters of altitude are distributed over around 44 kilometers - a challenging but also wonderful trailer experience. Because the numerous viewpoints along the way and the picturesque vineyards are a worthy reward for your efforts. And if you still don't have enough at the end of the tour, just end the day with a few laps on the Offenburger Pumptrack!
