Nice tour, especially on hot summer days as there are lots of shady forest paths.
One of Bavaria's largest forest areas lies directly in the Nuremberg suburbs: the Reichswald. It has long resisted the city's hunger for space. Developers and traffic planners repeatedly struggle with it, and in doing so, they experience a green miracle.
