Gravel riding
Grab your gravel bike, grease your chain and make sure you're clean enough to get dirty. This route of 50 kilometers goes completely through Hoge Kempen National Park. Count on many unpaved kilometers and (if it has rained well) a lot of splashing sand and mud.

An updated version of quiet gravel paths. This route does have a little fun. After the descent of the Litzberg you go straight up a very steep climb. Who will come up. Followed by a singletrail descent. An alternative is to follow the bike path. 'Quiet' is relative if you cycle over the bridge over the water before 10am. Then very busy in good weather
NP De Hoge Kempen is a great area where you can walk, MTB or gravel. I have chosen a few routes from a collection by Bram Tankink. This was a short but tough tour entirely in the National Park, literally racing through the woods.
Nice route, almost completely through the forest with some quite challenging descents and climbs. Nice single trails. Part of the tour may be closed on weekends. This is just after Walkro. However, after crossing the rails for the second time, there is a steep descent. In my opinion, this descent is not suitable for gravel bikes and falls under the heavy MTB category. The tour can be shortened on the road to As in Maasmechelen, but I have not tried this myself. If you end up on this road, you can also cycle to the entrance of the Mechelse hei and resume the tour there.
Super nice gravel ride on the Hoge Kempen. This ride is by Bram Tankink and there is a lot of variety, from singletrack to beautiful long gravel paths. You really relax because you are also cycling a lot in the woods. Was a bit muddy, so some parts were a bit off, but highly recommended and will definitely cycle more routes
