No regrets about my choice to walk this route. It is beautiful. I even walk part of it on the Hondsrugpad, here it is called the Hŭnenweg. This is the stage that I have not yet walked because it is difficult for me to reach by public transport. I hope to walk this stage again one day. It was another wonderful day. I really like the combination of cycling and walking.🚴🚶♀️🚴
I've been to Meppen so many times, but I've never walked through the Esterfelder Forest. I made up for it today. And what can I say? It was really beautiful. It doesn't matter if you deviate from the planned route. You always end up on the right track. 😅 And it's really nice that the path also goes a little way along the Straße der Lieder (how fitting for me) and the Ems.
What a coincidence: just like Simon1412 I was out and about in the Esterfelder Forst🌲🌳 this morning. Beautiful, natural paths run through the area. However, Komoot is not quite up to date with the hiking trails here. But you can still not get lost due to the good signage 😁
