Firmly up (short piece) to descend even more sharply afterwards. Beautiful little paths, wonderful views and the detour to the hut is worth it.
Today was supposed to be sunny and warm again. So we used the Aktiv Card again and took the Jöchelspitzbahn cable car to the mountain station. A group of people preparing for tandem flights followed us not far from the mountain station. From further up, we could watch the takeoff. It always looks funny when a tangle of four legs runs down the slope. Meanwhile, we continued climbing and then turned right down onto the Alprosensteig trail. It was a bit slippery because of the rain, so we had to be careful. On the south slope, it was drier and the path was very romantic in places. We stopped at the Bernhardseck Hut and then walked back a bit along the same path. At the fork, we turned left, following the signs for the valley station. At times, it was steep downhill in the ☀️ every cloud was welcome 😅 At the bottom, we met the Lechweg trail and followed it to the valley station parking lot. On the way, I did the usual Kneipp treatment for the 🦶🦶 at a stream crossing 👍 A nice little walk, even the downhill is tough on the knees!
There was a lot of sun 🌞 today, just as many views 👀. The descent was mainly via S4/S5 paths. All I can say is "keep your eyes open when planning" 😀.
Recommendation from the Seesumpfkapelle above to the Jöchelspitzbahn valley station and then the Lech hiking trail down to Stockach
