Ran as a training race. During the warm-up, I noticed that I had sore glutes and hamstrings. Despite this, I was still in the lead up to the Schattberg, but I suffered from start to finish. I had a mental and physical meltdown at the 4h and 5h stages. I never got into zone 3 (40/40/20% zone 1-3) until Schattberg. Still, I battled through to a solid 2nd place. It went well, nothing happened, beautiful scenery - good race.
