In the Hohe Tauern National Park there is not only a lot to see, but also to learn. Just like on the Bachlehrweg. The popular themed trail always leads you along the Hollersbach through the idyllic landscape of its valley and explains a lot of interesting facts about the animals…

From the car park below the Sahnealm, take the stream nature trail along the Hollersbach up to the Senningerbräu Alm
This is one of my favorite tours in the Hohe Tauern. Wildly romantic, pleasant to walk, well developed, simply an experience. Parking in front of the Seestube.
Today's hike wasn't the most exciting, but it was a very nice tour to slow down😊. In between, the Bach educational trail offers a fantastic natural backdrop and many information boards to read up on. On the Senningeralm you can have a very good snack, although it has to be said that it is a very modern Alm and nothing rustic! But very very good nonetheless. The way back is a bit asphalt-heavy but no less beautiful. You have water outlets everywhere, where you can tap your own mountain spring water.
Next time I would return by the creek. The other was in the sun and always paved road..
Comfortable tour into the Hollersbachtal to the Senningerbräualm, surrounded by 3000m peaks.
For the last days of vacation this summer I followed the call of the mountains again. 🗣️ After a day's journey from north to south through Germany and a bit further, I ended up in a wonderful holiday home in Mittersill. 🧭 After arriving and sitting in the car for a long time, there had to be a short tour of the surrounding area. 🌞 So off to neighboring Hollersbach, where the river of the same name flows. Here I started a short hike, always along the roaring river... past pastures, watercourses that splash into the valley, tinkling cows, water troughs and many information boards of the stream educational trail that leads along here. 🪧 A nice hike to the Senningeralm, which was already closed at such a late hour. ⏱️ In the panoramic view, the Großvenediger and the Großglockner stretched across the valley. Just beautiful! 🏞️ It went back pretty quickly through the forest via the access road. A wonderful introductory round that arouses anticipation for the coming days! 😃
An educational trail with interesting information panels leads through beautiful landscapes. Please note: the Elisabethalm is apparently permanently closed.
